4 lakh dirhams in compensation to the family of Pakistani national Muhammad Abid Ali, who died after being hit by a truck and bike in Sharjah.
The court has ruled to pay 4 lakh dirhams (i.e. 3 crore Pakistani rupees) in compensation to the family of Pakistani national Muhammad Abid Ali, who died after being hit by a truck and bike in Sharjah, through the intervention of Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

The accident occurred on March 17, 2016, when a truck and a bike traveling in the same direction collided in Sharjah's Sana'iyya. A Pakistani national, Abid, who was riding the bike, died in the accident. The police filed a case against the truck driver for causing bodily harm and property damage to another person due to his negligence and for driving without maintaining the proper distance and presented him in court. The court, which considered the case, found him guilty and sentenced him to two months in prison, two months of compulsory service, and a compensation of two lakh rupees to the family of the deceased. However, with Abid's death, the life of his family, consisting of his widowed wife and children, became very difficult and the family approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, demanding compensation for the financial and moral losses they had suffered. Understanding the family's needs, he immediately approached the insurance company and demanded compensation. After considering the petition, the insurance company was ordered to pay two hundred thousand dirhams to Abid's family. However, arguing that the criminal court had already awarded two hundred thousand dirhams as compensation to the family and that no further compensation was required, the opposing insurance company approached the civil and appellate courts and requested that the amount awarded by the insurance court be set aside. However, the court, which considered the complaint, rejected their request. Currently, four hundred thousand dirhams (i.e. three crore Pakistani rupees) were being distributed among Abid's family according to Sharia.
