On February 26, 2023, the vehicle driven by Siju was making a U-turn in Dibba, Fujairah, when it collided with two vehicles coming from the opposite direction. The court found that the accident was due to the negligence of all three drivers, including Siju, and the Traffic Criminal Court fined the drivers 1000 dirhams and released them.

Subsequently, Siju, who suffered serious injuries to his head, face, neck and neck in the car accident and lost consciousness, approached his father, YAB LEGAL SERVICES - CEO Salam Pappinissery, to seek compensation. Later, through his intervention, a case was registered against a leading insurance company in the UAE by submitting medical reports and police reports to the Insurance Authority.

The lawyer from YAB Legal Services argued on behalf of Siju before the Authority, demanding that the insurance company that insured the vehicle pay compensation, as Siju had sustained injuries all over her body and that the vehicle she was travelling in was within the insurance period. After hearing the arguments, the Authority asked the insurance company to pay compensation of 200,000 (two lakhs) dirhams. However, according to the documents submitted, the opposing party filed a reply memorandum, claiming that Siju did not suffer any further injuries, that Siju was at fault and that only a small amount should be paid as compensation, but the reply memorandum of the lawyer from YAB Legal Services, which came with strong documents including the medical report issued by the UAE Medico-Legal Department and documents of medical expenses, could not stand up to the objection.
