The court order in favor of Shamseer has come after a year of legal battles. On November 15, 2020, a vehicle hit Shamseer while he was crossing the road in Sana'iyya, Sharjah. The court found that the accident was due to the negligence of the driver of the vehicle that hit Shamseer, and the Traffic Criminal Court fined the driver 1500 dirhams and released him.

Shamseer, who suffered serious injuries in the accident, approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES- CEO Salam Pappinissery to seek compensation. Later, through his intervention, a civil case was filed in the Dubai Court. The case for compensation was registered against the leading insurance company in the UAE that insured the vehicle that caused the accident and against the driver of the vehicle. Shamseer's lawyer approached the court with strong documents, including medical reports.

When the case reached the court, the lawyer appearing for the insurance company argued that Shamsir's injuries were minor, and that the compensation amount was only 85,000 dirhams, and that any claims beyond that should be rejected, and that Shamsir was also at fault in the accident, and therefore, Shamsir's complaint should be dismissed. However, the weak arguments of the insurance company could not stand up to the documents and arguments submitted by Shamsir's lawyer in the court.

The court then carefully examined the arguments of both parties and found that the fault lay with the driver of the vehicle that hit Shamsir, and that only the medical report and police report submitted by Shamsir's lawyer were sufficient at the moment, and completely rejected the insurance company's argument.

Based on the documents submitted by Shamsir's lawyer, the court ordered him to be paid 400,000 UAE dirhams. However, Shamsir's lawyer submitted a new medical report stating that the compensation amount was not sufficient and filed an appeal. The court considered the appeal and changed the first verdict and increased the compensation amount to 500,000 dirhams. The court rejected the appeal filed by the insurance company, which repeated its previous arguments.
