On July 10, 2020, an Emirati national was driving a vehicle that was not under control and was crossing the road in Ras Al Khaimah. Rabih, who was immediately injured in the accident, was taken to Al Sakhar Hospital, but he died. The court found that the accident was due to the negligence of the Emirati national, and the Traffic Criminal Court fined the driver 50,000 dirhams and released him.

Subsequently, the family of Rabih, who died in the accident, approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES - CEO Salam Pappinissery for compensation. Later, through his intervention, a case was registered against a leading insurance company in the UAE and the driver of the vehicle by submitting medical reports and police reports before the Insurance Authority. In that case, the Insurance Authority asked the insurance company to pay 100,000 (one lakh) dirhams in compensation.

However, YAB LEGAL SERVICES filed a civil case in the Dubai Court, showing that the amount received was not sufficient for compensation, by submitting documents including medical reports, inheritance certificates and police reports. The lawyer of the insurance company filed a memorandum in response, stating that the documents submitted were incorrect and that the compensation awarded by the court was higher, and that the awarded amount should be canceled. The court, which examined the documents provided by YAB LEGAL SERVICES, found that the insurance company's argument was not correct and found that Rabih's family was entitled to more compensation and ordered Rabih's family to pay 200,000 (two lakh) dirhams in addition to the previously awarded 100,000 dirhams. Thus, Rabih's family received 300,000 (three lakh) dirhams, i.e. 68 lakh Indian rupees as compensation.
