The accident in question occurred on July 4, 2019. The vehicle Faridullah was driving in Al Ain collided with the vehicle in front. Following the accident, Faridullah was seriously injured and was immediately admitted to the hospital.

Since the fault was on Faridullah's side, the police registered a case against him and the Al Ain Traffic Criminal Court released him after paying a fine of 1,000 dirhams for driving recklessly and not maintaining the proper distance.

Later, Faridullah's relatives approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery for compensation for the accident and then filed a case in the Insurance Court for compensation for the accident.

Farid's lawyer argued that the accident caused serious injuries to Farid's leg, which resulted in physical disability and financial and mental loss, and therefore, he should receive compensation from the vehicle's insurance company. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the insurance court ordered compensation of 200,000 dirhams. However, the Dubai Civil Appeal Court, stating that the compensation awarded by the lower court was insufficient, was approached and the appeal court increased the 200,000 dirhams awarded by the lower court to 300,000 dirhams (5.6 million Afghan Afghanis).
