Bangalore: The All India KMCC Bangalore Central Committee has brought auspiciousness to girls from 12 poor families through mass marriage. The function held at the Shihab Thangal Centre Auditorium in Bangalore yesterday was attended by prominent figures from the religious, political and social spheres. Former Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and MLA Ramalinga Reddy inaugurated the function. Prominent industrialist and Safari Group MD Zainul Abidin and former MLA Parakkal Abdulla provided financial support for the mass marriage.
Till date, more than 300 young women and men from the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have got a new life through the mass marriages organized by AIKMCC in 4 phases. AIKMCC Bangalore President presided over the function, General Secretary M.K. Naushad welcomed and M.A. Amirali proposed the vote of thanks. City Juma Masjid Chief Imam Maulana Maqsood Imran Rashadini Kahin presided over the function.
