Compensation of 250,000 dirhams to a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident in Sharjah's Al Wahda.
A Dubai court has ordered compensation of 250,000 dirhams (approximately 2 million Pakistani rupees) to Rashid Nawaz, a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident in Sharjah's Al Wahda, through the intervention of Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

The accident occurred on October 20, 2021, in Al Wahda when a motorcycle driven by Pakistani national Rashid Nawaz was hit by a car from behind by an Egyptian national. Rashid, who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately taken to Al Qasimiyya Hospital for treatment. The police found that the cause of the accident was non-compliance with traffic rules and failure to maintain the correct distance between vehicles, and registered a case with the Criminal Court. Since the accused himself confessed to the crime before the court, the court imposed a fine of two thousand dirhams and released the accused.
However, Rashid Nawaz, who was undergoing treatment for the accident, found further treatment and life difficult. Rashid approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services, for further legal assistance and compensation. Under his leadership, a petition was filed in the insurance court for compensation, and the court, which considered the petition, ordered the insurance company to pay two hundred thousand dirhams to Rashid Nawaz. However, Rashid Nawaz's lawyer approached the civil court and demanded a higher amount, stating that his client was in great difficulty due to the accident and had suffered permanent disability in his left ankle and foot, and therefore the amount awarded by the insurance court was insufficient. Although the insurance company raised arguments against this, the court accepted the arguments of Rashid Nawaz's lawyer and increased the compensation amount to two and a half hundred thousand dirhams (i.e. approximately two million Pakistani rupees).
