On March 5, 2022, a car driven by an Indian national hit a bike belonging to a Pakistani national, Muntasir, near Al Quso Enoch Residence in Dubai. Muntasir, who was seriously injured in the accident, was admitted to Rashid Hospital and was receiving treatment. The police found that the accident was caused by the Indian national, who was entering the exit from the main road, not paying attention to the vehicles coming from behind, and filed a case against the driver and referred him to the criminal court. The court, which considered the case, fined the accused four thousand dirhams for causing harm to the property and body of another person.

However, since Muntasir, who was injured in the accident, had to face numerous financial and moral losses in the form of medical expenses, Muntasir approached Yab Legal Service CEO Salam Pappinissery, requesting that all of this be provided to him by the opposing party. Salam Pappinissery, who examined Muntasir's medical report and accident report, filed a petition with the Insurance Court under his leadership, making the company that insured the vehicle that caused the accident the opposing party and demanding compensation. However, the opposing parties had submitted a reply memorandum to the Insurance Court, stating that the amount demanded was excessive and that they were not willing to pay anything more than twenty thousand dirhams. The court then examined all the documents submitted by both parties and ordered the insurance company to pay Muntasir 1.5 lakh dirhams in compensation. However, Muntasir's lawyer expressed dissatisfaction with this verdict and approached the civil court, stating that his client had suffered permanent facial deformity of about 40 percent due to the accident. Although the opposing parties opposed this, the civil court increased the compensation to 2 lakh dirhams (i.e. 1.5 crore Pakistani rupees).
