Body of Alappuzha native Shindas, who died in Dubai, brought back home; Procedures expedited due to K.C. Venugopal's intervention

Dubai: The body of Shindas Sivadas, a native of Alappuzha Mannancheri, who died in Dubai due to excessive drug use, has been brought back to the country. The body, which was taken from Sharjah on Friday, August 21, at 09.50 pm, arrived in Kochi at 3.25 am on Saturday.

He was found dead at his residence on August 9. Since the body could not be brought back even after ten days of his death, the family contacted AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal and his office. He then intervened in the matter and contacted the Indian Consulate and Yab Legal Services CEO Mr. Salam Pappinissery to complete the legal procedures.

His father is Sivadas, an autorickshaw driver. His mother is the late Madhubala. Shimdas is the only brother, a BSF officer.
