Ras Al Khaimah: The body of Tintu Paul (36), a native of Koovappadi, Ernakulam, who died in a road accident while traveling with his family, was brought home and cremated. Tintu's body was brought home on an Air India flight from Dubai. Tintu Paul is an employee of the RAK Medical Center in Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah.

The legal proceedings were completed very quickly as a result of the collective work of Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Service in the UAE and a social activist, S.A. Salim, President of the Ras Al Khaimah Indian Association, social activists Sreedharan Prasad, Pushpan Govindan, Nihas Hashim, A.K. Sethunath, and Ras Al Khaimah Hospital employees Dr. Sudeep Thomas, Asma Mansoor, Vishnu, Jithin Abraham, Biju, Basil and Sonu. Tintu's husband, Kripashankar, was driving the vehicle in which the accident occurred. That is why the Ras Al Khaimah police have filed a case against him. . With this, Kripashankar got into legal trouble and the family was in crisis as Tintu's body could not be sent back to their homeland. Then, social activists including Salam Pappinissery and S.A. Salim came into the scene. After the legal action taken, a solution was found to the legal problems against Kripashankar and the necessary steps were expedited to bring Tintu's body back to their homeland.

The car in which Tintu Paul and her family were travelling was in an accident while they were travelling from the Jebel Jais mountain range in Ras Al Khaimah. Apart from Tintu Paul, her husband Kripashankar, their children Kritin Shankar, a Delhi private school student, one and a half year old Adin Shankar, and Kripa Shankar's mother Sumathi were in the vehicle. Tintu, who suffered severe head injuries in the accident, was admitted to the intensive care unit of Sakhar Hospital and later transferred to Rak Hospital for emergency surgery, but died.
