Compensation of 1 crore 17 lakh Pakistani rupees to a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident
The court has ordered the compensation of 1 crore 17 lakh Pakistani rupees (154,484 dirhams) including court costs to Asad Khurshid Chowdhury, a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident in Dubai, through the intervention of YAB Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On June 4, 2023, on Al Khail Street in Dubai, when the truck in front slowed down, Asad's bike slowed down. The car driven by a Pakistani national behind the bike also slowed down. However, the car driven by an Indian national who came behind it, violating the traffic rules without maintaining a certain distance, hit the car driven by the Pakistani national and, in the midst of the collision, hit Asad's bike in front, causing an accident. Asad, who was injured, was transferred to the Rashidiya Hospital in Dubai.
The Indian national who drove the vehicle in violation of the traffic rules was found guilty in a criminal case by the court and released after paying a fine of 2000 dirhams. On this occasion, he filed a case in the Insurance Disputes Resolution Court to seek compensation, making the vehicle's insurance company the opposing party. Asad approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES- CEO Salam Pappinissery to take legal action for this.
The lawyer for Yab Legal Services argued in court that Asad's left leg was badly injured and that the cause of the serious injuries to his thigh, knee and ankle was the negligence of the driver who drove the vehicle in violation of traffic laws. After hearing the arguments, the court ordered the insurance company to pay compensation of 150,000 dirhams.
Against this, the lawyer for the insurance company submitted a memorandum of reply stating that the injury was not serious and that this amount was more than the compensation. Although the lawyer for the insurance company submitted a memorandum of reply stating that the injury was not serious and that this amount was more than the compensation, the medical report and documents submitted by Asad's lawyer could not stand up to the medical reports and documents submitted by the lawyer for the insurance company.
