Compensation of 2 lakh dirhams to a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident.
The court has ordered compensation of 1 crore sixty-seven lakh fifty thousand Pakistani rupees (2 lakh dirhams) to Muhammad Ismail Gul Mali Khan, a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident in Sharjah, through the intervention of YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On September 13, 2020, a car in Sharjah Al Dhaid was involved in an accident when the vehicle behind it collided with the vehicle in front of it while changing lanes due to not maintaining the correct distance. The driver of the vehicle that caused the accident, Ismail, was injured in the impact and was admitted to the hospital.
The Sharjah Criminal Court found that the driver's negligence was the cause of the accident and fined Ismail 2000 dirhams. However, he approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery for compensation, as he suffered serious injuries to his shoulder, wrist, and left knee. After submitting the medical report and other documents, the insurance company that insured the vehicle was registered with the Insurance Authority as the opposing party. After carefully examining the documents, the Insurance Authority asked the insurance company that insured the vehicle to pay 200,000 dirhams as compensation.
Meanwhile, the insurance company that insured the vehicle filed a civil case in the Dubai Court, arguing that the compensation amount awarded by the court was excessive and that such an amount was not necessary. However, the civil case was dismissed after Ismail's advocate submitted a memorandum of reply with the correct documents. The insurance company later filed an appeal case with the Dubai Court of Appeal, but it was dismissed.
