Compensation of 200,000 dirhams to a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident.
A Dubai court has ordered compensation of one crore fifty-one lakh Pakistani rupees (200,000 dirhams) to Tauseef Ahmed, a Pakistani national who was injured in a car accident in Bur Dubai, through the intervention of YAB Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On February 5, 2022, the bike driven by Tauseef Ahmed, without maintaining the required distance, crashed into the container vehicle in front of him within the limits of Bur Dubai Police Station. Tauseef sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was immediately admitted to Al Nahda NMC Hospital.
The court found Tauseef, who was driving the vehicle, guilty in a criminal case and released him after paying a fine of 1000 dirhams. YAB LEGAL SERVICES - CEO Salam Pappinissery contacted him at a time when he was worried about whether he would get compensation since he was at fault. Then, under his leadership, a case was filed before the Insurance Authority, making the vehicle's insurance company the opposing party, seeking compensation.
Tauseef's lawyer argued before the authority that Tauseef had sustained injuries all over his body and that the insurance company that insured the vehicle he was in at the time of the accident should pay compensation. After hearing the arguments, the authority asked the insurance company to pay compensation of 200,000 dirhams.
Against this, the insurance company had countered that the injuries were not serious and that this high amount was more than the compensation amount and that it should only pay compensation based on the injuries after examining the medical reports and documents.
However, the arguments of the insurance company's lawyer could not stand up in the face of the medical reports and documents submitted by Tauseef's lawyer.
