Compensation of 56 lakh Indian rupees to an Indian girl injured in a car accident in Sharjah.
A Dubai court has ordered compensation of 56 lakh Indian rupees (2.5 lakh dirhams) to Sreelakshmi Baburaj, an Indian girl injured in a car accident in Sharjah, through the intervention of YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On January 16, 2020, a school bus was driven carelessly and without maintaining sufficient distance in Abu Sharah, under the jurisdiction of Sharjah Al Gharb Police Station, and crashed into another school bus in front. Sreelakshmi was in the bus in front. Sreelakshmi Baburaj was seriously injured in the accident and was admitted to Sharjah Al Qasimiyya Hospital.
The driver who caused the accident was found guilty by the criminal court and ordered to pay a fine of 2000 dirhams. However, Sreelakshmi's father, who lost the hearing in his right ear following the accident, contacted YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery to seek compensation and initiate legal proceedings.
Sreelakshmi's lawyer filed a case with the Insurance Authority, seeking adequate compensation, by submitting medical reports and other documents, against the company that insured the vehicle and the driver who caused the accident. The Insurance Authority, after examining the documents submitted, ordered the company that insured the vehicle that caused the accident to pay 2.5 lakh dirhams (56 lakh Indian rupees).
