On November 30, 2019, a school bus and a car collided in Musaffah Shaabiyya, Abu Dhabi. Six people died and 19 were injured in the accident. Saritha, who was injured in the accident, was admitted to Abu Dhabi Al Rahba Hospital and the Baniyas Criminal Court ruled that the drivers of both vehicles were guilty of the accident, finding that the accident occurred due to not maintaining proper distance.

Meanwhile, Saritha, who suffered serious injuries to her head, chest, back, and abdomen, contacted YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery to seek compensation. Saritha's lawyer filed a case with the Insurance Authority, filing a medical report and other documents with the insurance company that insured both vehicles as the opposing party.

The Insurance Authority, after examining the documents submitted by Saritha's lawyer, considered the case and ordered the insurance companies that insured both vehicles to pay 8 lakh dirhams (2 crore 88 lakh Nepalese rupees) in compensation to the injured Saritha.

However, the insurance company that insured one of the vehicles filed a civil case in the Dubai court, arguing that they were not liable to pay the compensation amount. However, the case was dismissed because Saritha's lawyer submitted a memorandum of reply with clear evidence, including the criminal case judgment, proving that the driver of both vehicles was at fault. Later, the opposing party filed an appeal case, but unable to withstand the arguments of Saritha's lawyer, the appeal case was dismissed and legal fees were imposed on them.
