Compensation of three lakh dirhams to a Bangladeshi national who was injured in a car accident in Ras Al Khaimah.
A Dubai court has ruled to pay compensation of approximately nine lakh Bangladeshi dhakas (three lakh dirhams) to Abdul Malik, a Bangladeshi national who was injured in a car accident in Ras Al Khaimah, through the intervention of YAB Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On August 6, 2020, in Ras Al Khaimah, Abdul Malik, a pedestrian, was hit by a car driven by an Emirati woman who was speeding from the right while crossing the road. Abdul Malik, who suffered serious injuries in the impact of the lightning, was taken to Al Saqr Hospital and treated.
.The police immediately registered a case and found that excessive speed and carelessness while driving were the cause of the accident. The criminal court fined the accused and released him.
However, Abdul Malik approached YAB Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery for compensation as he suffered injuries all over his body. Then, Abdul Malik's medical reports were submitted to the insurance court, and the case was awarded three hundred thousand dirhams as compensation.
However, the insurance company approached the first instance court and the appeal court, stating that the injury was not serious and that this amount was too much. However, Abdul Malik's lawyer, contrary to the evidence they provided, convinced the court through medical reports of the accident he had suffered and the dangers that would await him in the future.
The court, after considering the arguments of both parties, examined the medical report issued by the UAE Medical Legal Department and the records of the medical expenses, and found that the insurance company should pay the same three hundred thousand dirhams (i.e. approximately nine hundred thousand Bangladeshi dhakas) as the court had awarded. It dismissed the insurance company's appeal and imposed legal fees on them.
