Compensation of two hundred thousand dirhams to a Bangladeshi national who was injured in a car accident.
A Dubai court has ordered compensation of two hundred thousand dirhams (approximately 6 million Bangladeshi dhakas) to Dhapan Sudhir, a Bangladeshi national who was injured in a car accident in Abu Dhabi, through the intervention of YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On October 29, 2020, a Bangladeshi national was driving recklessly and without following traffic rules in Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, resulting in the car overturning and seriously injuring his passenger, Dhapan Sudheer. Both were immediately admitted to the hospital.
Since the driver of the vehicle was found to be at fault for the accident, the police filed a case against him and the Traffic Criminal Court ordered him to cancel his license for three months and pay a fine of 10,000 dirhams. Later, Dhapan Sudheer's relatives approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery for compensation for the accident.
Under his leadership, a case was registered with the Insurance Authority for compensation. The lawyer argued that the accident caused serious injuries to the joint of the complainant's right hand and spine, which resulted in physical disability and financial and mental loss. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the court awarded Dhapa Sudhir one hundred and ten thousand dirhams as compensation. However, the insurance authority approached the Dubai Civil Court, stating that the compensation awarded was insufficient, and increased the compensation to two hundred thousand dirhams (approximately 6 million Bangladeshi dhaka).
