Compensation of two lakh dirhams to Signesh, a native of Puthiyangadi, Kozhikode, who was injured in a vehicle collision in Al Khail, Dubai.
The court has ordered a compensation of two lakh dirhams, or 57 lakh Indian rupees, to Signesh, a native of Puthiyangadi, Kozhikode, who was injured in a vehicle collision in Al Khail, Dubai, through the intervention of Yab Legal Service CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On March 28, 2022, the vehicle driven by Signesh, a native of Kozhikode, Puthiyangadi, who was coming from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, was hit by an Emirati citizen's vehicle from behind. Signesh, who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately taken to the Dubai Rashid Hospital for treatment. The police, who investigated the accident, registered a case against the Emirati citizen for reckless driving and excessive speed and referred him to the court. The court found the Emirati citizen guilty of causing damage to the property and body of another person in the accident and fined him three thousand dirhams.
Signesh, who was undergoing treatment for injuries to his spine and right femur following the accident, approached Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery, seeking compensation for the losses he had incurred. After examining Signesh's accident report and medical report, he led a petition in the insurance court, making the vehicle that caused the accident the opposing party, but the opposing party, the insurance company, submitted a memorandum of reply, stating that the full amount demanded could not be paid and that the party had only suffered minor injuries. The court, which considered the petition, ordered Signesh to be paid 200,000 dirhams in compensation, but the amount awarded was insufficient, according to his client. Stating that the insurance court had not considered the case, Signesh's lawyer filed a case in the civil court and requested a review of the insurance court's verdict, stating that his client had suffered various physical hardships due to the accident and that the medical report showed permanent disability in some of his organs. The court, after examining the papers submitted by both parties, accepted Signesh's lawyer's argument and increased the compensation amount to two lakh fifty thousand dirhams (i.e. 57 lakh Indian rupees).
