Dubai: A Dubai court has ordered a compensation of AED 50,000 (approximately PKR 3.87 million) to Nisar Ahmad Muhammad Iqbal, a Pakistani national who sustained injuries in a road accident on October 4, 2022, on Al Khail Street, Dubai, before the Al Meydan Street exit. The intervention of Yab Legal Services was pivotal in securing this verdict.

Nisar Ahmad, who was riding a motorcycle, collided with a Nissan Patrol car and overturned due to a sudden change of direction to the left. As he was deemed responsible for the accident, Nisar Ahmad was fined AED 1,000 in a criminal case.

Following the accident, Nisar Ahmad suffered injuries to his leg and joints. He was immediately admitted to Rashid Hospital. When Nisar Ahmad was unable to obtain compensation, his relatives approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services.

Under his supervision, a compensation case was registered after submitting the necessary documents. The case was filed against Nisar Ahmad's motorcycle insurance company.

After thoroughly examining the submitted documents and medical certificates, the court accepted the arguments of Nisar Ahmad's lawyer and ordered his motorcycle insurance company to pay AED 50,000 as compensation.
