Expatriate quarantine; Global Pravasi Association Chairman Salam Pappinissery submitted a petition to the Chief Minister

Sharjah: Salam Pappinissery, Chairman of the Global Pravasi Association, has submitted a memorandum to the Honorable Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, demanding that the quarantine imposed in Kerala on those arriving from foreign countries be avoided. Salam Pappinissery submitted the memorandum by explaining the unscientific nature of imposing a ban on those arriving from other states only on expatriates, pointing out the protests being raised from the expatriate community and the helplessness of the expatriates.
Only those who have taken 2 doses of the vaccine and tested negative in the PCR test before traveling are coming to Kerala from Gulf countries. Salam Pappinissery also explained in the memorandum that those who undergo PCR tests at the respective airports in Kerala and test negative in the tests given there should be exempted from mandatory quarantine.
