Free Legal Aid Proves Crucial: Ajman Police Arrest Kannur Native for Misusing Pictures of Influencer Hafisa

AJMAN: Ajman Police have arrested a native of Kannur (Kerala, India) for the unauthorized circulation of pictures belonging to Hafisa, a licensed social media influencer and blogger originally from Aralam, Mattannur, Kannur, who operates in the UAE.
Hafisa, who works for a prominent company in Sharjah, had her images disgracefully circulated on the social media platforms of two massage centers. The visuals of Hafisa, who has a large following on Instagram, were promoted alongside defamatory captions offering massage services, such as "She is available for massage" and "Visitors will feel relaxed."
Following the incident, Hafisa approached several law firms for legal action, but the high legal fees posed a significant hurdle. She subsequently contacted Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services.
Considering the seriousness of the digital harassment and defamation faced by the woman, Salam Pappinissery took on the legal battle free of charge. A criminal case was registered at the Ajman Police Station through the Ajman Public Prosecution. Following the investigation, the Police successfully arrested the opposing party. Further legal proceedings in the case are currently underway.
