GPA Chairman Salam Pappinisseri expressed deep concern regarding the investigation, noting that even after a week since the incident occurred, the key members of the criminal gang remain at large. Seeking urgent intervention, Salam Pappinisseri has sent official letters to the Chief Minister, the Director General of Police (DGP), as well as various MLAs and MPs.

The Incident The abduction took place near the Kozhikkattiri Bridge in Palakkad, where the gang kidnapped the businessman at gunpoint. Reports indicate that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of approximately ₹70 crore.
