Ajith Kumar returns home after lot of suffering

Sharjah: Kannur native Ajith Kumar, who had come from the country on a Dubai resident's house driver visa seven years ago and got into trouble with the law, was finally freed due to the intervention of social activists including an MLA.
Ajith Kumar (51), the son of a native of Kannur, Kalyasseri Kongalamveetil Kumaran, who had come to work for a resident's house, has been in trouble for the past four years without being able to see his parents, wife and children in the country. Four years ago, at the request of his Arab sponsor, Ajith's passport was presented at the police station for bail for his own son. Although he was told that he would return it immediately, he did not receive the passport despite repeated requests.
Then Ajith Kumar approached his legal representative Salam Pappinissery through locals and TV Rajesh MLA intervened directly. It was only when he approached the Sharjah High Court to get a passport and got a favorable order that he learned that Arabi had died. He tried to get another passport, but since he did not receive a consent letter from the sponsor, he filed a complaint with the police and was also prevented from getting another passport.
Then, as per the order received from the court, the consulate was contacted and Ajith was given the correct documents to go home, avoiding a large fine under the amnesty scheme.
