The accident occurred when a bike driven by Bangladeshi Mehed Hasan hit a car parked on the road near Al Warqaa Art School in Dubai. Mehed Hasan, who was injured in the accident, was immediately taken to Rashid Hospital. The criminal court found that the cause of the accident was careless driving and that it caused damage to someone else's property and sentenced him to a fine of 2,000 dirhams. However, since the front of the car was completely damaged in the accident, its owner filed a case against Mehed Hasan. Mehed Hasan approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Service, for further legal assistance and filed a petition in the Insurance Court under his leadership. The court, which examined the medical reports of Mehed Hasan, who was injured in the accident and undergoing treatment, ordered the insurance court to pay two hundred thousand dirhams in compensation. However, the insurance company approached the civil and appeal courts, stating that Mehed Hasan's negligence was the cause of the accident and that the amount awarded was higher, but Mehed Hasan's lawyer appeared against this. He convinced the court through the medical report of the difficulties Mehed would face in the future due to this accident. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the court accepted the argument of Mehed Hasan's lawyer and rejected the petitions of the insurance court.
