On February 2, 2022, an Emirati citizen was hit by a car in Dubai Business Bay and hit Amit's bike. Amit, who was injured in the accident, was immediately taken to Rashid Hospital for treatment. The police, who investigated the cause of the accident, found that the Emirati citizen was driving without maintaining the correct distance, filed a case and referred it to the court. The criminal court sentenced him to a fine of 3,000 dirhams for causing bodily harm and property damage to another person.

However, Amit, who was undergoing treatment for injuries and bone fractures all over his body, had to face a lot of financial and moral losses following the accident and approached Yab Legal Service CEO Salam Pappinissery to compensate him for this loss. Understanding Amit's difficulties, Salam Pappinissery, under his leadership, filed a petition in the insurance court, making the company that insured the vehicle that caused the accident the opposing party, and claimed compensation. The court, which considered the petition, ordered the insurance company to pay Amit 3.5 million dirhams. However, Amit's lawyer stated that the court had not considered all of his client's requests and that the amount awarded was insufficient. He approached the court and submitted a medical report to the court documenting the injuries and permanent disability sustained by his client in the accident, and convinced the court of the difficulties his client would face in the future. Although the insurance company also approached the court against this, the court accepted Amit's legal argument and increased the compensation amount to 4.5 lakh dirhams (i.e. 1 crore 62 lakh Nepalese rupees).
