On September 15, 2020, Ahsanul Haq, who was riding a bike near Al-Khor Park in Dubai, was hit by a car driven by a Jordanian. Ahsanul Haq fell off his bike in the middle of the storm and was immediately taken to Dubai's Rashid Hospital, where he was treated.

A case was filed in the criminal court, stating that the accident was caused by violating traffic laws and driving without taking precautions to stop when taking the vehicle onto a public road, and the accused was released after paying a fine of 3,000 dirhams.

Ahsanul Haque, who was left in a coma after suffering serious head and leg injuries, approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of YAB Legal Services in the UAE, to seek compensation and further legal action.

Ahsanul Haque's lawyer submitted a memorandum to the Dubai Civil Court, arguing that the accident was not due to any fault on his client's part and citing medical reports and other evidence. After examining the documents submitted and understanding Ahsanul Haque's condition, the court awarded him four hundred thousand dirhams in compensation.
