Compensation of four lakh dirhams to a native of Ottapalam, who was injured in a vehicle accident
The court has ordered compensation of four lakh dirhams (nine lakh Indian rupees) to Nafla, a 10-year-old girl from Ottapalam, who was injured in a vehicle accident in Dibba, through the intervention of Yab Legal Service CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On May 16, 2021, Nafla was crossing the road with her family from the vicinity of Badiya Mosque in Dibba when she was hit by a vehicle driven by an Emirati citizen who came towards her. He was fined by the Criminal Court for reckless driving and disregarding traffic laws and released. The accident resulted in multiple broken ribs, internal bleeding, and a ruptured spleen.
Nafla's father, who works for a meager income, was struggling to pay for treatment and other expenses. He immediately had to approach the insurance company for compensation, and for this, Nafla's family approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services. Understanding the family's plight, Salam Pappinissery immediately assigned his lawyer to submit the case to the insurance company, including medical reports and other documents. The medical report convinced the court that Nafla had sustained serious injuries and a permanent deformity to his chest, and demanded compensation. The court, convinced of this, forced the insurance company to pay Nafla four lakh dirhams (ninety lakh Indian rupees) in compensation.
