Compensation of two hundred thousand dirhams to Pakistani national Muhammad Nadeem, who was injured in a collision between a bike and a car.
The court has ordered compensation of two hundred thousand dirhams (one and a half million Pakistani rupees) to Pakistani national Muhammad Nadeem, who was injured in a collision between a bike and a car near Dera Gold Souk, through the intervention of Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On May 27, 2019, a motorcycle was hit by a car driven by a Sri Lankan on Al Sabkha Road in Deira Gold Souk. The car that was coming from the opposite direction hit the motorcycle. The criminal court found that the vehicle changed direction without taking the necessary precautions when changing direction and did not comply with traffic laws, and imposed a fine of 2,000 dirhams and released the accused. However, Nadeem, who was seriously injured in the accident and undergoing treatment at the Dubai Rashid Hospital, had a difficult time with further treatment and his life. Nadeem approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, seeking compensation for the accident he had suffered. Understanding Nadeem's needs, he took him on and, under his leadership, filed a complaint for compensation in the Insurance Court. The court, which considered the complaint, ordered the insurance company to pay Nadeem two hundred thousand dirhams (i.e. one and a half million Pakistani rupees) in compensation. However, the insurance company, dissatisfied with this verdict, filed a complaint in the civil and appeal courts. When Nadeem's lawyer replied to the insurance company's argument that the awarded amount was too high and that most of the injuries were to the vehicle, the court rejected it. The decision was upheld and the insurance company's appeal was rejected.
