Pakistani Man Injured in Dubai Road Accident Awarded AED 50,000 Compensation

Sharjah, UAE - A Pakistani national, Muhammad Mohsin Ghulam Abbas, who sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Dubai, has been awarded AED 50,000 (approximately 3.8 million Pakistani Rupees) in compensation following the intervention of Salam Pappinisseri, CEO of Yab Legal Services.
The incident occurred on April 5, 2023, on Al Wasl Road in Dubai, in front of Box Parking. According to reports, an Emirati woman driving a vehicle failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with the motorcycle ridden by Mr. Mohsin. The impact propelled the motorcycle forward, causing it to hit a Mercedes car. This resulted in a chain reaction, leading to a collision between two other vehicles ahead.
Mr. Muhsin suffered severe leg injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. The Dubai Traffic Criminal Court determined that the Emirati woman was at fault and imposed a fine of AED 2,000. However, Mr. Mohsin had not received any compensation for his injuries and losses.
Subsequently, his relatives contacted Salam Pappinisseri, CEO of Yab Legal Services, for assistance. Under his guidance, a case was registered with the Insurance Authority to claim compensation. Necessary documents, including medical reports, the criminal court judgment, and a memorandum, were submitted.
After reviewing the submitted documents, the court heard the case and ruled in favor of Mr. Mohsin, awarding him AED 50,000 in compensation.
