Pakistani National Awarded AED 80,000 Compensation Following Abu Dhabi Accident

Sharjah: A Pakistani national, Yasir Amin Muhammad Amin, has been awarded AED 80,000 (approximately 62 lakh Pakistani Rupees) in compensation following a road accident in Abu Dhabi. The successful resolution was facilitated by the intervention of Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services.
The incident occurred on October 27, 2023, at the Sas Al Nakhl roundabout in Abu Dhabi. Yasi Amin was riding his Honda Unicorn motorcycle when he was struck by a car driven by an Indian national. The criminal court determined that the accident was caused by the car driver's negligence, specifically for entering the road without ensuring it was clear. The driver was subsequently fined AED 2,000.
Yasi Amin sustained serious injuries to his spine and back as a result of the collision. After the criminal court ruling, and with no compensation immediately forthcoming, Yasi Amin sought assistance from Salam Pappinissery of Yab Legal Services. Pappinissery investigated the details of the case and initiated legal proceedings to secure compensation. Necessary documents, including the criminal case judgment, medical reports, and a memorandum, were submitted to the court.
After reviewing the case, the court ruled in favor of Yasir Amin Muhammad Amin, ordering the car's insurance authority to pay him AED 80,000 (62 lakh Pakistani Rupees) in compensation.
