Punnakkan Muhammadali's 'Oppam: Covid Notes' released


Sharjah: ‘Oppam: Covid Notes’, edited by Punnakkan Muhammadali, cultural activist and president of Chiranthana Samsarkika Vedi and published by Lipi Publication, was released by Dr. E.P. Johnson, President of the Indian Association Sharjah, at the Writers’ Forum Hall of the Sharjah International Book Fair, and presented to Salam Pappinissery, Legal Representative of Sharjah Younis Al Balushi Lawyer and Legal Consultants and Chairman of the Global Pravasi Association. The event, which was chaired by T.P. Mahmood Haji, former treasurer and financial expert of Dubai KMCC, was moderated by Gold FM News Editor Roy Raphael. Middle East Chandrika Resident Editor Jaleel Pattambi welcomed the gathering. Indian Association Sharjah Vice President Adv. Y.A. Rahim, Lipi Chairman Akbar, Sadiq Eramangalam and others were present at the event. Punnakkan Muhammadali delivered the reply speech.
This 400-page book contains the experiences of more than one hundred and twenty-eight people during the COVID pandemic. Many prominent people like K. Sachidanandan, Zakaria, M.G. Radhakrishnan and others have written in it. ‘Oppam: COVID Notes’ is available at the Lipi stall at the book fair. The price of the book is Rs. 500.
