Ras Al Khaimah Accident: Muhammad Aamir Muhammad Hussain Awarded AED 90,000 in Compensation


Ras Al Khaimah: Pakistani national Muhammad Aamir Muhammad Hussain, who sustained injuries in a traffic accident in Ras Al Khaimah, has been awarded AED 90,000 (approximately PKR 7 million) in compensation. This significant legal outcome was achieved with the assistance of Salam Pappinissery, CEO of YAB Legal Services.
The accident occurred on March 21, 2024, in the Al Rifa area of Ras Al Khaimah. A pick-up van, driven by another Pakistani national, collided with Muhammad Aamir's motorcycle as he was entering the main road from a smaller pocket road. It was determined that the pick-up van driver was at fault due to negligence and failure to maintain a safe distance. In the criminal case related to this incident, the pick-up van driver was fined AED 2,000.
Following the accident, Muhammad Aamir suffered severe injuries to his hands and other parts of his body. He subsequently sought the assistance of YAB Legal Services, led by Salam Pappinissery. The legal team submitted all necessary documents to the court, including the accident report, the criminal case judgment, a forensic medical report, and payment receipts.
After a thorough review of the submitted documents and information, the Insurance Authority ordered that Muhammad Aamir be paid AED 90,000 in compensation, along with an additional AED 3,850 to cover his medical expenses.
