Relatives of Sri Lankan youth who died in Ajman identified.

Dubai: The relatives of Sri Lankan national Sudarman Chandran, who died two days ago, have been identified.

He had come to Dubai in search of work. He was cheated by an agent and, unable to get any work, became depressed and committed suicide at his residence in Ajman. Later, Salam Pappinissery, CEO and social activist of Yab Legal Service in the UAE, and social activist Nihas Hashim Kallara received information and as a result of their collective work, sought the help of the Sri Lankan Consulate and contacted the Sri Lankan police to locate his relatives. The procedures to repatriate the body are being completed.
