Sharjah: Ghulam Mustafa Malik, a Pakistani national who sustained injuries in a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Sharjah, has been awarded PKR 3.5 million (AED 45,000) in compensation by a court. This significant legal victory was achieved through the intervention of Salam Pappinissery, CEO of YAB LEGAL SERVICES.

The accident occurred on November 12, 2023. A vehicle driven by a Delhi native, which was approaching the roundabout opposite the main gate of American University of Sharjah, collided with Ghulam Mustafa's motorcycle, which was coming from the direction of Beirouni Residency. The court found that the accident was caused by the Delhi native's negligence and failure to adhere to traffic regulations, as he entered the roundabout without ensuring it was clear of other vehicles. Consequently, he was fined one thousand dirhams by the court and released.

Ghulam Mustafa suffered severe injuries to his right leg and other parts of his body following the accident and was admitted to Al Qassimi Hospital for treatment. Subsequently, he and his relatives approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of YAB LEGAL SERVICES, to pursue a compensation claim. Lawyers under his guidance registered the case and submitted all necessary documents to the court.

After a thorough review of the submitted documents, the court ruled in favor of Ghulam Mustafa Malik, ordering that he be paid PKR 3.5 million (AED 45,000) as compensation.
