Sharjah: The Malayalam version of Wuhan Diary, written by renowned Chinese writer Fang Fang based on Covid, was released by social activist Firoz Kunnumparambil at the 39th International Book Fair at the Sharjah Expo Centre by handing it over to Olive Publication Gulf Coordinator, UAE legal representative and social activist Salam Pappinissery. This book, which tells the story of Wuhan residents, has been translated into Malayalam by prominent writers Praveen Rajendran, Anu.K. Antony and Pratibha R.K. The release ceremony was held at the pavilion of Olive Publications, the publisher of the book.
The Wuhan Diary describes the challenges faced by Wuhan residents during the lockdown due to the coronavirus, which has created fear in the hands of time, and the insecurity they experienced. The Wuhan Diary also highlights the times when the residents of Wuhan fought and moved forward without losing their confidence even in difficult times when everyone was about to collapse. The book Wuhan Diary shows that the pain of all suffering people all over the world is equal.
