Sharjah Government organizes Labour Fest to mark International Workers' Day

Sharjah: The Sharjah Labor Standards Development Authority organized a Labor Fest on the occasion of International Workers' Day yesterday. The event organized at the Sharjah Al Sajja Labor Park was attended by Indian Labor Consul in the UAE, Tadu Mamu, as the chief guest. The Sharjah Labor Authority explained that it will provide a better environment and more facilities in the labor camps for the workers who have come to the UAE for survival. In order to find solutions to the problems faced by the workers, Team Yab provided free legal services to the workers who came to the labor camp, represented by Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Group, a well-known law firm in the UAE.

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Ahmed Ibrahim Al Sharji, Director of the Sharjah Labor Department, Vice Counselor of India Ananth Kumar, Special Task Police Abdul Latif Al Qadi, Red Crescent Department officials, Program Director Abdullah Kamana Palam, Legal Representative Salam Pappinissery, Sharjah Indian Association President Adv. Y.A. Rahim, NTV Chairman Mathukutty, IMCC Sharjah President Tahir Ali Porappadu, Farsana Abdul Jabbar, Yab Legal Group staff members, and others.
