Compensation of 8 lakh dirhams to Jaipal, a native of Uttar Pradesh, who was injured in a car accident in Sharjah.
A Dubai court has ordered compensation of 8 lakh dirhams (i.e. 1 crore 81 lakh Indian rupees) to Jaipal, a native of Uttar Pradesh, who was injured in a car accident in Sharjah, through the intervention of Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On September 27, 2018, Jai Pal was crossing the road near Sharjah Industrial Area 17 when he was hit by a vehicle driven by another Indian national. Jai Pal, who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately taken to Qasimiyya Hospital for treatment. The court found the driver guilty of not following traffic rules and reckless driving and fined him Dh2,000 and released him.
Jaipal, who was undergoing treatment for a serious head injury, approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, seeking compensation for the accident he had suffered. He then approached the insurance court under his leadership, and the court, which considered the petition, awarded 400,000 dirhams in compensation. However, upon examining the medical reports, it was discovered that Jaipal had suffered damage to his skull and bones in his arms and legs, and was experiencing persistent shortness of breath. Jaipal's lawyer approached the civil court, stating that the amount awarded was insufficient and that Jaipal would have difficulty finding sources of income for a long time due to this accident. The court, understanding the demand, increased the 4 lakh dirhams awarded by the insurance court to 8 lakh dirhams. However, the insurance company, expressing dissatisfaction with this verdict, appealed and submitted a memorandum stating that the accident was due to Jaipal's fault and that he did not pay attention to the things to be careful when crossing the road, but the court rejected it.
