Compensation of four hundred thousand dirhams to a Filipino national who was injured in a car accident in Abu Dhabi.
A Dubai court has ordered the compensation of four hundred thousand dirhams (approximately 6.1 million Philippine pesos) to Rodel Season Azores, a Filipino national who was injured in a car accident in Abu Dhabi, through the intervention of YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On October 13, 2020, Rodel Season, who was cycling on the right side of the road on Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum Road in Abu Dhabi, was hit by a car that swerved off the road. He suffered serious injuries to his thigh and chest and was immediately admitted to the hospital.
The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court found the driver guilty of reckless driving and disregarding traffic laws, and ordered him to pay a fine of 10,000 dirhams. However, Rodel Season Azores did not receive any compensation. That is why he approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of YAB LEGAL SERVICES, and initiated legal proceedings to obtain compensation.
The case was registered by adding the driver of the vehicle and the insurance company that insured the vehicle as opposing parties and submitting the necessary documents such as medical reports and police reports before the insurance court. After examining the documents submitted, the court considered the case and ruled that three hundred and fifty thousand dirhams should be paid to Rodal Season as compensation.
Realizing that the compensation amount was not sufficient compared to Rodal Season's injuries, the lawyer filed a case in the Dubai Civil Court, requesting an increase in the compensation amount. The civil court, after considering the plaintiff's injuries and other evidence from the submitted documents, ordered the plaintiff to pay 400,000 dirhams (approximately 6.1 million Philippine pesos) in compensation for the accident.
