On March 12, 2020, in the Al Hail area of Fujairah, a Pakistani national was loading petroleum pipes into a pickup truck when the driver of the pickup, an Indian national, accidentally reversed the vehicle and ran over his body. Due to the accident, Amin, who was bleeding profusely from his leg, was immediately taken to the hospital and treated. During the police investigation, the accused Indian national confessed to the crime and was fined Dh1,500, and the court released the accused.

However, Amin, who was seriously injured and undergoing treatment, approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, to seek compensation for the damages he had suffered. He immediately filed a petition in court under his leadership, making the insurance company the opposing party and demanding compensation. The court, which considered the petition, ordered the insurance company to pay Amin three hundred thousand dirhams (i.e. 2 crore 30 lakh Pakistani rupees). However, the insurance company approached the civil and appellate courts, stating that Amin had suffered minor injuries and therefore could not pay such an amount. However, Amin's lawyer submitted medical reports and explained the future risks he would face due to this accident. The court was convinced by the difficulties. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the court accepted the arguments of Amin's lawyer and dismissed the insurance company's petitions.
