Compensation of two lakh dirhams to the family of a Nepalese national who died in a car accident in Ajman.
The court has ordered compensation of 72 lakh Nepalese rupees (two lakh dirhams) to the family of Bishnu Prasad Panda, a Nepalese national who died in a car accident in Ajman, through the intervention of YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery.


On October 8, 2022, an Indian driver in Ajman was involved in an accident in which he drove recklessly and disregarded traffic rules, leading to the death of Bishnu Prasad.
The police registered a case against the driver and after investigation, it was found that his negligence was the cause of the accident. The court found him guilty and imposed a fine of Dh5,000.
Bishnu's family consists of his mother, wife, daughter, and one-year-old son. Bishnu Prasad Panda was their sole support. That is why his death has deeply hurt the family. That is why his relatives have approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES CEO Salam Pappinissery and are seeking compensation.
Bishnu Prasad's advocate filed a compensation case by submitting all the necessary documents including death certificate, medical report, attested soul bread winner certificate, legal heirs certificate specifying the heirs. The insurance company of the vehicle that caused the accident was also added as the opposing party. After examining the documents and arguments submitted, the court ordered the insurance company to pay 200,000 dirhams (72 lakh Nepalese rupees) as compensation to Bishnu's family members.
