On June 1, 2022, a speeding vehicle hit Pawan Prakash, who was standing next to a parked vehicle in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi. He suffered serious head and body injuries and died at the scene.

The police investigation found that the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident was tired and that his mistake was the reason for the loss of Pawan Prakash's life, and the court found him guilty.

Pawan Prakash was the sole breadwinner of his family, consisting of two daughters and a wife. That is why his absence deeply saddened the family. That is how some of the relatives approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of YAB LEGAL SERVICES, and filed a case. He examined the details of the case and initiated legal proceedings to obtain compensation.

The compensation case was registered by adding the company that insured the vehicle that caused the accident as the opposing party. The plaintiffs are the heirs of Pawan Prakash, his father, mother, wife and two daughters. All the necessary documents including the criminal case judgment, death certificate, soul bread winner certificate attested by the Indian Embassy, ​​guardian certificate, legal heirs certificate and others were submitted.

After examining the complaint filed before the court and the documents submitted, the court considered the case and ordered to pay two lakh dirhams (45 lakh Indian rupees) as compensation.
