Three lakh dirhams in compensation to Zakir, an Indian national who was injured in an accident on the Emirates Road in Dubai.
The court has ruled to pay three lakh dirhams (approximately 68 lakh Indian rupees) in compensation to Zakir, an Indian national who was injured in an accident on the Emirates Road in Dubai, through the intervention of Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

The accident occurred on January 10, 2021, when the car in which the friends were traveling crashed into a divider on Emirates Road in Dubai. The driver died in the accident and three people who were with him were seriously injured. The injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The court suspended the criminal case, stating that the case was not viable since the driver of the vehicle had died.
Zakir, who was seriously injured in the accident and was undergoing treatment for several days, approached Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery, demanding compensation for the financial and moral losses he had suffered. Immediately, under his leadership, Zakir approached the insurance court on Zakir's behalf and demanded compensation. For this, Zakir's lawyer submitted a medical report from a UAE health expert and argued. After considering the petition, the court ordered the insurance company to pay Zakir one hundred and thirty thousand dirhams. However, Zakir's lawyer also argued that the amount awarded was insufficient and that his client had not reached full health and continued treatment was required. The other party also approached the civil court, arguing that there were only minor injuries. However, after hearing the arguments of both parties, the court examined the documents submitted by them, accepted the argument of Zakir's lawyer, increased the amount awarded by the insurance court to three lakhs (i.e. approximately 68 lakh Indian rupees) and made the other party liable to pay the costs of the case, etc.
