Two lakh dirhams in compensation to Bakhtar Ali, a Pakistani national who was injured in a bike accident near Dubai Internet City.
A court has ruled to pay two lakh dirhams (1.5 crore Pakistani rupees) in compensation to Bakhtar Ali, a Pakistani national who was injured in a bike accident near Dubai Internet City, through the intervention of Yab Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On December 29, 2021, the motorcycle on which Pakistani national Bakhtar Ali was traveling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi collided with two other vehicles. Bakhtar was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment. He lost control of his vehicle and crashed into two other vehicles that were traveling on the right lane due to reckless driving. The police filed a criminal case of causing damage to another person's property and referred it to the court. The court found the accused guilty and fined him Dh1,000.
Subsequently, Bakhtar Ali, who was undergoing treatment for head and leg injuries, approached Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, requesting that necessary steps be taken to compensate him for the heavy medical expenses and other losses he had incurred. After learning the details of the case, he immediately consulted with his legal experts and filed a petition in the insurance court, making the company that insured the vehicle the opposing party. Although the court, which considered the petition, ruled to pay one hundred and seventy thousand dirhams as compensation, Bakhtar Ali's lawyer approached the civil court and claimed for a higher amount, stating that this amount was insufficient and that his client needed further treatment. The court, which considered the complaint, increased the compensation amount to two lakhs (i.e. one and a half crore Pakistani rupees).
