The family of Gaddala Raja, who died in a road accident , received compensation of 70 lakh Indian rupees.
The family of Gaddala Raja, a native of Andhra Pradesh, who died in a road accident while crossing the road illegally, has received compensation of 70 lakh Indian rupees (300,000 three lakh dirhams) through the intervention of YAB Legal Services CEO Salam Pappinissery.

On December 27, 2022, Gaddala Raja was crossing the road in the Sharjah Industrial Area when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a Pakistani national. Immediately after the accident, Gaddala Raja was taken to Sharjah Al Qasimiyya Hospital, but he died on the way.
The Pakistani national, who drove his vehicle without paying attention to the person crossing the road, was found guilty in a criminal case by the court and was ordered to pay a fine of 3,000 dirhams and pay a compensation of 100,000 dirhams to the deceased's family and was released. On this occasion, Gaddala Raja had a family in the country who depended on him and he was their only income, so he filed a case in the Insurance Disputes Resolution Court, demanding compensation in addition to the compensation of 100,000 dirhams. Gaddala Raja's family approached YAB LEGAL SERVICES- CEO Salam Pappinissery to take legal action for this.
The Yab Legal Services' advocate argued in court that the cause of Gaddala Raja's death was the negligence of the Pakistani national who drove the vehicle violating the traffic rules, and therefore, the insurance company that insured the vehicle should pay compensation. After hearing the arguments, the court ordered the insurance company to pay 200,000 (two lakh) dirhams in addition to the daily allowance.
Against this, the insurance company's lawyer approached the Court of Appeal, arguing that the fault was with Gaddala Raja, who crossed the road instead of using the zebra crossing, and that this amount was more than the compensation. Although the insurance company's lawyer approached the Court of Appeal, seeking only the appropriate compensation by examining the police reports and documents submitted by the Yab Legal Services lawyer, the arguments of the insurance company's lawyer were rejected in the face of the police reports and documents submitted by the Yab Legal Services lawyer.
