Sharjah. Person who got stuck in UAE, cheated by his friend reached home safely.
Timely assistance by Mr. Salam Pappinissery, a well known Social worker and Chairman of Global Pravasi Association helped Ajeesh Pushkaran (44) to reach home through Air India Express flight from Sharjah to Trivandrum.
Ajeesh came on a visit to UAE on 5th October 2019. Ajeesh was trapped by his friend who was working in a Company where the salary was in default. His friend wanted to leave the Company and the Company asked him to provide a replacement employee in his place. He in turn offered the job to Ajeesh without informing him about the situation in the Company. As soon Ajeesh joined the Company his friend gone back to his home town.
After working for few months, Ajeesh asked for his salary and the Company terminated him and suspended him from the camp.
Became homeless, Ajeesh took shelter in public places where his Passport, mobile phone and other valuables were stolen.
In desperation to go home, Ajeesh caught the attention of Police but after 5 months of jail term he was released from the jail. Ajeesh met with an accident and was hospitalized at Rashid hospital who provided him free medical assistance.
With no hope of going home and without any money, Mr. Salam Pappinissery and his team of Global Pravasi Association – Mr. KTP Ibrahim, Adv. Sankar Narayan, Ms. Farzana Jabbar, Manssor EM Azhikoodu, Mundir Kalpakamcherry, Yahya Kannoor visited Ajeesh at Rashid hospital.
Mr. Salam Pappinissery took his own initiative to discharge Ajeesh from the hospital and provided him with food, clothing, other amenities and accommodation in a hotel in Sharjah. Mr Salam Pappinissery made arrangement with Indian Consulate to get him a temporary Passport and arranged all necessary legal procedures for Ajeesh to leave the country without any legal hassle.
